The Midland Flex Learning Center is a new MPS learning option designed for students who thrive in a more flexible or alternative educational setting.

Launching as a pilot for a group of 9th through 12th-grade students in Fall 2026, the Flex Learning Center will provide a hybrid alternative and virtual learning environment, flexible pacing, and support for students who may benefit from an experience outside the traditional classroom. For the fall semester, the Flex Learning Center program will be housed at Central Auditorium while final updates are made to its permanent location in the Fast Ice Drive building.

The Flex Learning Center program will offer students multiple graduation paths and individualized instruction, giving more of our students the opportunity to stay connected to MPS while finding a learning approach that works best for them.
